Have you ever felt like there’s something missing in your life? You’ve got pretty much everything you could ever want and need, recreational cannabis has been legalised and yet there’s still a hole you can’t work out how to fill. Sound familiar?

If it does, you’re not the only one…and today’s your lucky day. Because obviously what’s been missing from your life is cannabis pizza.

When you think about it, how could it not be? Quite possibly the two most awesome things on the face of the earth, brought together to create the kind of epic entity that’s beyond anything you’ve ever experienced by far.

As was predicted quite a long time ago, cannabis cuisine has been taking off in a big way ever since legalisation became a thing for millions of Americans. The thing is though, all the fine dining and extravagant recipes in the world sometimes cannot compare with the simplicity of a superb homemade pizza. That said, if you can’t be bothered putting the thing together for yourself, you can simply order in and get busy with some cannabis condiments.

In any case, take it from us when we say that pot pizza can and will change your life, and you’ve got three pretty easy options for cooking one up:

Cannabis Oil

First of all, cannabis oil is quite possibly the easiest cannabis condiment to make and also the most versatile. It’s basically a case of taking 3.5 cups of your chosen oil for every ounce of very finely ground weed of your choice, many people use strains with higher THC (highest THC stgrain page) content so they are using less bud but still get the desired effects. Before heating to just below boiling point, make sure to you are stirring frequently and allowing to infuse for an hour or two. When you’re done, strain out the bits, leave it to cool and you have yourself the perfect condiment to be used with just about anything. It’s great drizzled over absolutely any pizza that takes your fancy, but there’s also the option of baking into the sauce or even the crust if you’re going for the DIY approach.

Pizza Sauce Recipe

If you’re out to make the best pot pizza sauce on Earth…well, truth is you’re going to need some of the above-mentioned oil first. Take about half a cup of cannabis oil and add canned tomatoes or tomato paste, crushed garlic, basil, oregano and salt and pepper – all in the quantities you prefer. Set on a stove, bring to the boil and simmer for about half an hour. Take it off, leave it to cool for at least two hours and store any you don’t use in the fridge. It also makes the perfect base for a thousand and one pasta sauces, too.

Garlic Cannabutter Pizza

Last up, melted garlic butter brushed liberally over a pizza or simply over toasted bread of any kind is to die for. If you’ve not already cooked up a batch of cannabutter, you should probably be at least a little bit ashamed of yourself! It’s the same process here – melt the butter, add the pot, hold at 190 degrees F for two hours, strain, cool and enjoy. The only difference being the addition of a few cloves of crushed garlic during the infusing part of the process, which will leave you with the kind of garlicky cannabutter you could pretty much eat with a spoon. It’ll make for the best garlic bread you’ve ever experienced and can perk up any pizza. Best of all, this stuff keeps indefinitely in the fridge, so you might as well knock up a rather hefty batch while you’re at it!
