We recently penned a piece to put to rest the age-old argument as to whether or not cannabis hangovers exist.
They do - and they’re pretty nasty when they occur. Of course, neither the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption or the completely debilitating after effects apply where weed is concerned. Unless you made the decision to combine alcohol with cannabis, which most will tell you is never a great idea.
As for curing cannabis hangovers when they hit, the key lies in first considering why you ended up feeling hungover in the first place. The high quantities of THC in your system obviously play a role, but there are other factors to consider when treating your symptoms the morning after.

Cannabis concentrates are becoming more popular all the time. For some, getting the biggest possible kick out of weed is about buying the highest-THC concentrate their budget can stretch to and going nuts. For others, there’s so much more enjoyment in cooking up DIY cannabis concentrates at home.
The only slight issue is that with most cannabis concentrate extraction methods, there’s a danger of doing yourself serious damage. As in, the kind of damage that could explode you and the home you live in.
Hence, unless you know exactly what you’re doing, most commercial/industrial extraction methods are to be avoided at all costs.
However, there’s one approach to cooking up concentrates at home that’s not only

Whether you buy cannabis commercially or grow your own at home, you’ll probably want to make the most of every scrap at your disposal. You’ve paid good money for your weed, so it simply makes sense to put it to the best possible use.
This is why it’s not uncommon for seasoned stoners to spend time (and quite rightly) scraping every scrap of sticky residue out of their pipes and bongs for recycling purposes. It’s also why you’ll frequently encounter those who say there’s really nothing wrong with drinking dirty bong water.
On the surface, there’s logic to support the suggestion that bong water isn’t entirely devoid of value. As the smoke passes through the water, small amounts of THC and CBD are left behind. Likewise, if bong water contains decomposing plant matter - which it surely does - then wouldn’t it make the ideal solution

Rainbow Kush takes its name from the beautiful colours it produces and the plant matures. Often referred to simply as Rainbow, it’s a fantastically-balanced 50/50 hybrid that’s perfect for all occasions. Boasting a relatively modest THC content of around 16% and a CBD content of 1%, Rainbow Kush produces a mellow and controllable high that’s great for newcomers and seasoned stoners alike. It’s also a serious producer, often putting out as much as 750g of usable cannabis for every square metre of grow space.
General Characteristics
If we’re being totally honest, Rainbow Kush cultivators and sellers are known to exaggerate with this stuff. More specifically, you’ll often come across pictures of Rainbow Kush that have been enhanced and photoshopped to death. - January 26, 2020
Bodhi Seeds are notorious for not letting a great deal of information slip about their latest and greatest strains. At least, not in terms of the hard scientific specifics, anyway. In the case of Sky Lotus, it goes without saying that this is yet another epic piece of engineering from one of the greats. Though still technically in its developmental stage, a fair amount of Sky Lotus has nonetheless found its way onto the commercial market. It’s a fantastically balanced hybrid that leans slightly towards the indica side, with a generous THC content and a fabulous flavour profile. It’s suspected that Sky Lotus is a descendant of Snow Lotus and a second

One of the golden rules when it comes to successful cannabis cultivation is to have patience. However, there are instances where cannabis flowers seem to take a lifetime to mature. You invest heavily in the cultivation process from day one, but for some reason your plants seem reluctant to deliver the goods.
In which case, what exactly is standing between you and your harvest? What kinds of factors can affect the speed at which cannabis flowers mature?
Before taking things further, it’s important to note that slow progress towards maturity doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem. Hence, you don’t need to panic right away. Nevertheless, one or two adjustments could help steer things in the right direction.
Here are just a few of the many reasons why cannabis flowers sometimes mature more slowly than expected:

Some say that to grow cannabis at home to be proud of, it takes time, effort and patience. But what kind of time and patience are we talking about? Weeks? Months?
Truth is, it’s actually possible to grow cannabis at home in a relatively short period of time. Every project is unique, but you’ll typically be looking at a total cultivation time of between 8 weeks and 16 weeks.
Not that this takes into account the drying and curing process, but we’ll get to that a little later.
For the most part, how long it takes to grow cannabis at home it comes down to the length of two primary cultivation phases:
- Vegetative phase
- Flowering phase
Neither of these can or should be rushed, but don’t necessarily need to take forever to get the job done. In any case, there’s one guaranteed method that can help anyone looking to grow cannabis at home as quickly as possible.

For some, the goal is to produce cannabis plants that are as tall and as large in general as possible. Selecting normal cannabis seeds (as opposed to autoflowering) and choosing a good outdoor specimen is the way to go, if you’re all about the ‘bigger is better’ approach to cultivation.
But whether growing indoors or out, cannabis plant stretching is never a good thing. Irrespective of the cannabis strain you choose, stretching is an issue that can have an impact on the quality and quantity on the final harvest.
In fact, plants that become overly skinny and lanky can snap themselves in two, long before producing anything worth harvesting.
The good news being that it’s perfectly possible to reduce the risk of cannabis plant stretching:

Autoflowering cannabis strains have transformed home cultivation for millions of growers worldwide. The key difference between a regular cannabis strain and an autoflowering cannabis strain being that the latter is not affected by changing light cycles.
When a typical cannabis plant reaches its vegetative stage, it continues to grow and develop for as long as natural conditions allow. When the nights begin to draw in and the cannabis plant detects that the autumn is approaching, it automatically shifts its focus from vegetating to flowering. At which point, it begins producing flowers/buds.
With autoflowering cannabis, the plant is automatically programmed to switch from its vegetative to its flowering stage at a certain point in time. At which point, it will begin flowering - irrespective of light/dark cycles at the time.Even at the height of the summer, therefore,
